You can now reserve your room worry-free. We’ve got you covered if you’re delayed and even if you can’t make it at all, we’re here to support.

 

Here’s how we can help:

  • If you don’t get a place at university or your course doesn’t run due to covid-19, we will cancel your booking without charge.
  • If you are unable to start your Nido stay due to Covid-19 travel restrictions in Ireland or your home country, you will not be charged for your unused room.

To be eligible for this policy you need to inform us in writing by the 1st September 2020 latest.

What type of proof will I need to provide that I haven’t made it onto my course or that my course is not running?

Any official communication from your university confirming that you have not made it onto your course or that it is not running.

How will I know I will be considered for the No Risk Booking Policy based on the lock down measures? 

Students affected by Covid-19 restrictions will be able to take advantage of this policy, this means you are either:

  • not allowed to leave your home country due to your home country government travel restrictions;
  • unable to enter Ireland due to Ireland’s travel restrictions
What should I do if I have booked a room but did not manage to get a place at university?

Not to worry, you will not be liable for any charges against your licence fees. To be eligible for this policy you need to inform us in writing by the 1st September 2020 latest via e-mail at cancellations@nidostudent.com
